Fence walk and talkCherry Lane Canines and Cats and Dogs of 6th and Devoy and FriendsWalk and talk times are from 1 to 2 on Saturday and on Sunday on Cultural crawl weekend 2019.Hi. I am Margaret Halsey the artist of the fences in New Westminster.Come and meet me and see the two fences of portrait of dogs and cats in the New Westminster area.Also you may meet some of the participants, the people and the dogs, and cats, and can hear their stories that they shared with me for the books about the fences.You can also purchase Dogs of 6th and Devoy and Friends for $20 and Cherry Lane Canines and Cats for $30. 50% of the net goes to the BC and Alberta Guide dogs and dogs for autism support.(I also paint on canvas and paper, dogs cats and scenery, using watercolour acrylic and pastels. I have been in the Cultural Crawl quite a few years, but more recently focusing on the fence art, and not opening my studio this year. You are welcome to arrange a time to come by, when you come to the walk)Walk and talk times are from 1 to 2 on Saturday and on Sunday of the Cultural Crawl 2019. August 10 and 11.Start at the Cherry lane fence west along the fence to the bend. We will meet there from 1 to 115 and then walk along the fences.The addresses of the fences are: 335 east 6th Ave and 805 Cherry Street New Westminster.Please note, the homes are not part of the walk, only the fences. If you dont get there at the start time, just find us along the fence during that hour, or come on your own any time.If you want a book and can't make it to the talk to get one, you can contact me at 604 527 9976 or clephadij@shaw.ca.The books are the pictures and stories provided by the participants and pictures of the paintings put together by me in memorable keep sake books that would make any dog or cat lover happy.
