Norbottenspets

This is a friendly and affectionate, loyal, happy and lively, fearless and self-confident, dog.

Generally it is very independent (read stubborn) as it has a mind of its own.

It has a strong hunting instinct, likes to wander and also likes to bark.

While this can be a lovely companion dog, the owner has to be aware of its natural character.

Its origin is Sweden and it is bred for hunting.

Its weight ranges from 26 to 34 pounds

It can be seen in many colours, - patches of colour and white. Patches can be yellow, orange, fawn, red, brown.

This is a very attractive dog. They are sweet looking and look somewhat like a fox.

There are not many in Canada.

I saw one just the other day. Its owner was happy to tell me about it and its good qualities. He made a good companion dog for this man. He told me they generally have a long life span, like a cat, and can live 20 years.

He looks a bit like a Shiba Inu, as that lovely dog also looks like a fox.
