She was supposed to come and stay with me at Christmas

Her owner had planned a trip away.

It was only a week or so before and I got a call from my friend to tell me that Gabby was not well. She had visited the vet and the news was not good. The vet suggested she give her the day to think.

Gabby died that next day, at home with her mom.

She will be missed by all who know her.

My dog Smyth and Gabby did a lot of things together over the last 3 years.

Her owner did a video of her and I think it is lovely.

Gabby was adopted and her age is not known, though she may have been 12 or more.
